A showcase of select IP and research capabilities at the University of Chicago, Argonne National Laboratory, and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.

The JTFI aims to deepen collaborative research opportunities across the University, Argonne, and Fermilab and accelerate the development of transformational research and technologies that deliver high-impact results to society. This year, JTFI awarded 12 projects across four topic areas: Energy Technologies, Microelectronics, High-Throughput Autonomous Discovery, and AI-Microelectronics for Advanced Scientific Instrumentation.

The Strategic Laboratory Leadership Program is a non-degree University of Chicago Booth Executive Education program for high-potential national lab scientists and staff to learn leadership skills from world-class Booth faculty, network with their peers, and prepare for more senior leadership roles.

The University of Chicago in partnership with Argonne National Laboratory convened world-class thought leaders to create a vision for an ambitious energy technologies initiative at the University of Chicago. Experts from academia, industry, and the national laboratories came together to discuss the grand challenges and cutting-edge solutions in energy technologies that have the potential to make impactful advancements both in fundamental science and real-world applications.
